Terms of Service & User Agreement
Welcome to Bliss-Box. By accessing this website, purchasing, using, or receiving products or services from Bliss-Box LLC (“Bliss-Box,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms of Service and User Agreement.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not purchase or use Bliss-Box products or services.
1. Products and Intended Use
Bliss-Box products are designed and tested for their intended purposes as described on our website and in the documentation provided with the product.
Customers are responsible for using products according to the applicable instructions, specifications, and recommended operating conditions.
Bliss-Box products may contain firmware, bootloaders, configuration data, and other software or programming that are necessary for proper operation.
2. Firmware and Software
Bliss-Box may provide firmware updates, configuration software, tools, and other software for its products.
Customers should use only firmware and update procedures provided or authorized by Bliss-Box for the applicable product.
Customers must not intentionally alter, replace, erase, or overwrite firmware, bootloader code, configuration areas, or other programmed memory unless Bliss-Box has specifically provided instructions authorizing that procedure.
Installing firmware intended for a different product or hardware revision may permanently disable the device.
3. Unauthorized Modification
Bliss-Box products may not be modified, reprogrammed, or altered in a manner that may affect their normal operation without authorization from Bliss-Box.
Examples of unauthorized modification include, but are not limited to:
- Replacing, modifying, or overwriting the Bliss-Box bootloader.
- Erasing or overwriting programmed flash memory using an external programmer or other programming equipment.
- Installing firmware that was not supplied or authorized by Bliss-Box.
- Altering firmware, bootloader code, configuration data, or device identification information.
- Using debugging or programming interfaces to modify the device's programmed contents.
- Making hardware modifications that affect the operation of the device.
- Removing, bypassing, or altering components or circuitry intended to protect or control the device.
- Attempting to recover, rewrite, or otherwise alter protected or reserved memory areas.
- Modifying a device for an application or purpose other than its intended use in a manner that affects its operation.
Normal diagnostic testing does not, by itself, constitute unauthorized modification. Using appropriate test equipment such as a multimeter, oscilloscope, or logic analyzer for troubleshooting is permitted provided that the testing does not alter the hardware or programmed contents of the device.
4. Warranty and Unauthorized Modification
Bliss-Box products are covered according to the warranty and return policies applicable to the product and purchase.
Warranty coverage does not extend to failures, damage, or operating conditions caused by unauthorized modification, reprogramming, misuse, improper installation, or operation outside the product's specifications.
If a device has been modified, reprogrammed, or otherwise altered, Bliss-Box may inspect the device and its firmware or programmed memory to determine whether the modification caused or contributed to the reported problem.
If Bliss-Box determines that unauthorized modification caused or contributed to a failure, the affected failure may not be covered under warranty.
Bliss-Box reserves the right to decline warranty repair or replacement when a device has been altered in a manner that prevents reliable determination of the original condition of the device or the cause of the reported failure.
For additional warranty and return requirements, please refer to the Bliss-Box Returns and Warranty Policy.
5. Technical Support
Bliss-Box provides technical support for products used in their original, supported configuration.
Bliss-Box may decline or limit technical support for products that have been:
- Modified or repaired without authorization.
- Reprogrammed with unauthorized firmware.
- Reprogrammed or erased using external programming equipment.
- Modified in a manner that prevents the device from operating in its original configuration.
- Used outside of documented specifications.
- Damaged as a result of unauthorized modification or misuse.
If a modified device is returned to Bliss-Box for service, additional charges may apply for inspection, restoration, repair, or replacement.
Bliss-Box may require the customer to return the device to its original configuration before providing further technical support.
6. Inspection of Returned Products
When a product is returned for warranty service, repair, or technical evaluation, Bliss-Box may inspect the hardware, firmware, bootloader, programmed memory, configuration, and other relevant components of the product.
Such inspection may include comparing the returned device with a known-good configuration or examining programmed memory for evidence of modification, corruption, or unauthorized changes.
A device that has been modified may require additional evaluation before Bliss-Box can determine whether a warranty claim is applicable.
7. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that firmware, software, hardware modifications, accessories, programming equipment, and other changes made to a Bliss-Box product are appropriate for that product.
Customers should maintain backups of any customer-created configurations or data before performing updates or modifications.
Bliss-Box is not responsible for damage resulting from procedures or modifications that are not specifically authorized or documented by Bliss-Box.
8. Intellectual Property
Bliss-Box products, firmware, software, documentation, designs, trademarks, logos, and other materials provided by Bliss-Box are the property of Bliss-Box LLC or its respective licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchase of a Bliss-Box product does not transfer ownership of Bliss-Box firmware, software, designs, or other intellectual property to the customer.
Customers receive the right to use the supplied firmware and software as necessary to operate the purchased product, subject to these terms and any applicable license terms.
9. Product Changes and Updates
Bliss-Box may update, improve, modify, or discontinue products, firmware, software, documentation, or services from time to time.
Firmware updates may change functionality, compatibility, performance, or supported features.
Bliss-Box does not guarantee that every product will be compatible with every third-party device, controller, console, operating system, game, or future hardware or software release.
10. Third-Party Products
Bliss-Box products may be used with third-party hardware, controllers, consoles, computers, software, and other products.
Bliss-Box does not control third-party products and cannot guarantee their continued compatibility, availability, performance, or functionality.

Bliss-Box's liability relating to a purchased product shall, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, be limited to the amount paid for the affected product.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
